Detail from my “Poorly Painted Portraits” series. This is my boss, who has plans of saving up enough money to buy his own island one day. The goldfish is symbol for the fact that he is a tropical species, that should be near blue skies and clear seas. Funny thing is we’ve been calling his office “the aquarium” for years.
